Shooting an engagement session in Norwich city centre, entirely on 35mm film, is something I’ve wanted to do for a while now. So when Shannon and James agreed to trust in me and let me be creative in this way, I was thrilled! We did land a rainy morning in February, but something about the grey skies over Norwich made the whole film aesthetic feel so much more romantic.
We met at the Red Lion in Bishopsgate for a brew, stopped at Pull’s Ferry, and walked back up through the Cathedral grounds for the session. It was a reminder of how beautifully untouched our city is, steeped with so much history on our doorsteps.
If you love the look of these super nostalgic images and would like to consider 35mm film for your own engagement session, let me know. You can reach out to me via email here, share your plans and visions for your session, and we can make some magic together. For now, please enjoy the beautiful S&J…
