There is no playing cool about this one – I can’t even pretend not to be overwhelmed with emotions. For me, as this is my first ever destination wedding, it’s a milestone in my career that marks the start of a new chapter; hopefully many more where this came from. Stepping off the plane to feel that scorching South of France heat hit my face was a feeling of true bliss. The privilege and the honour never eluded me once. This is my job, I reminded myself. Man, am I lucky.
Ashley & Scott welcomed me into their three-day wedding weekend with open arms, and I couldn’t have asked for more. Had I the opportunity to do it all over again, I would in a heartbeat. Every thing, and every one, was beautiful. There’s just something about that Provence state of mind that’s kind of addictive.
