Here’s one ticked off the “bucket list” of wedding venues. Chaucer Barn, the most beautifully intimate venue I’ve been to as of yet. Despite how utterly mesmerising this setting is, it wasn’t even my favourite aspect of this Chaucer Barn wedding. Nature offered us both rain and hail, on and off, throughout the day. However, Sarah and Alan didn’t let any of that hinder their family focused day.
These two have become one of my most familiar couples, having spent a lot of time with them ahead of their big day. I’ve come to care for them and enjoy their company, as if they were friends of my own. And you know why that rocks? Because it makes their wedding day just that bit more special. The connection these two have is totally gorgeous. It’s so fun to see a couple that are equally as emotionally invested in one another, as they are silly. I can only hope I’ve done that connection justice.
Of course, I have to say that this wedding was made all the more fun for working with some ace suppliers. None more so than the consumate professional and part-time joker that is Thomas Brown, of Browns Films. Cheers for the company, fella! And of course, shout out to Alex Chef and crew for the mouth-watering grub, and the girls covering East Coast Bars. A bunch of Norfolk’s finest, there!
So, have some of my highlights, right here – right now…
