What a corker of a wedding this was. I’ll say that right now and have no shame in raising your expectations. If something can happen at a wedding, it probably happened here. Think: fireworks, confetti cannons, an outdoor ceremony by a waterfall. The list could go on. Set in the picturesque coastal town of Aldeburgh, Suffolk, this wonderful day was made possible thanks to Tori and Caroline, the ladies behind the Wed Planners. They brought both mine and all of the incredible suppliers fates together with Katie & Chris, and I couldn’t be more grateful.
I had to reign it in on the ceremony pictures, as there were countless shots I could’ve included in here. It truly was the most beautiful ceremony I’ve ever seen with my own eyes, largely due to Indial Bel and her wicked way with words. They broke the formalities temporarily to join in a chorus of Oasis, before finishing their vows with a handfasting, tieing the knot in both the figurative and literal sense.
After a choatic, joyous and colourful day full of laughter and love, they lead their guests out onto the terrace to watch a surprise performance organised by Tori & Caroline, followed swiftly by a superb firework display. For a moment, I laid down on the grass to shoot upright and capture the colours in the sky. As I did so, I felt this euphoric yet calm feeling of happiness run through me. It was bliss.
