It’s easy to see why Cowdray House is often talked about as one of the most prestigious hidden gems in West Sussex. Nestled within 110 acres of manicured gardens and rolling parkland, the estate offers an effortless blend of historic grandeur and intimate warmth. As a photographer, I’m always chasing the light, and Cowdray’s architectural design – defined by its sweeping, large-scale windows and airy, palatial rooms – makes it an absolute dream for capturing the moments that come to define a wedding day.
For Zena and Jack’s celebration, the setting couldn’t have been more fitting. Being fellow actors, they brought a natural, magnetic energy to every frame, moving through the day with an ease that felt authentic and deeply personal. It was also a total joy to be back in the field with my talented friend and colleague, Kean Booth; collaborating in a space this inspiring always elevates the work produced. From the quiet morning preparations to the high-energy reception, here is a look at the highlights that made Zena and Jack’s Cowdray House wedding so unforgettable.
