Venturing into the deepest depths of the Cotswolds on a mid-October weekend will always be a good idea. Not least for a wedding. We all know how beautiful this part of the UK really can be, but there’s something about the popping reds and oranges of this season that truly makes it come to life.
When Hannah and Phil invited me to photograph their day at Cripps Barn, it was an easy yes not only for the above reasons, but also because Hannah had seen my work from a previous wedding I’d shot in London (check that out here) so I knew she was already fully on board with my style and approach to shooting weddings. That’s always a recipe for success, when you and a couple completely align on values in that way. It means I’m free to shoot their day exactly as I see it, and here’s a little idea of how that particular day in October went…
