This was a truly beautiful way to spend a Saturday. I drove down to Devon on Friday afternoon, and after a 6 hour journey became an 8 hour journey, arrived at my Airbnb a little tired and a little restless, at the same time. But I was excited for the day I’d be waking up to, having totally fallen in love with Ella & Jamie that day I met them for coffee in London.
When I arrived at Dartington Hall, after a deep and much needed sleep, and walked into Ella’s prep room, only to hear the Wicked movie soundtracking her morning – I knew in that moment that all expectations of their day were about to be exceeded. I loved every single second of this day.
So much joy in each room, so much colour in the flowers and decor choices, so much love shared between two different countries – the UK & Canada. This was one of those days you feel fortunate to be where you are, in the life you’re living, shooting the love that these people have for each other.
A mega shout out to the team that made it happen too. All of whom were wonderfully kind and welcoming to me all day…
