Welcome to my FAQs page! Here you’ll find the answers to some of the most common questions I’m asked. However, if you can’t quite find what you’re looking for, be sure to drop me a line and I can come back to you directly. Ciao!
So, how do we book you?
All I require from you to secure your wedding date, is a signed online contract and a £300 deposit. All of which can be done & dusted via email. That way, all of the boring stuff is out of the way with first, so when we meet, we can just talk about your plans, our favourite films & how cute your dog is.
How far will you travel?
I'm a Norfolk based photographer and mostly work both here and Suffolk, however I'm more than happy to travel across the UK for weddings. There is a £150 surcharge applied for weddings outside of a 70 mile radius of NR12 - this is just to cover accommodation and travel costs. Simple - no hidden charges.
Are you insured?
Heck yes! I'm a full time, professional wedding photographer, so it absolutely comes with the territory to be insured with public liability insurance, should the worst ever happen (which I'm almost certain it never will).
Do you offer wedding albums?
I sure do. If you purchase a wedding album through me, it'll match your beautiful grey USB box, and the quality is next to nothing. It's the perfect luxury, tangible way to view your images. Get in touch to find out more.
What's the engagement shoot all about?
A pre-wedding engagement shoot is a great excuse for me to be creative, for us to get to know one another, for me to figure out your boundaries, AND for you to get used to being in front of the camera. Endless list of bonuses, which is why they come as standard with your collectio.
We have you all day, yeah?
You do indeed. To quote Steve Tyler, I don't wanna miss a thing. I'm there with you for 12 hours of the day, from dusk till dawn (sorta). And I'll even join you on the dance floor for a shimmy or 6.
What if we don't need you for 12 hours?
I tend not to offer peak dates for anything less than a full day. However, if you're getting married midweek or you're off to elope somewhere beautiful, do let me know still and we can create something bespoke to suit your budget and needs.
Will you take any formal group photos?
Yeah, man. Of course. Those formal group shots are a necessary evil at any wedding day, and keep the in-laws at bay. Unless you really don't want any, we'll make time (usually no more than 10/15 mins) to whack them out properly and nicely.
Do we need to feed you on the day?
I'm always up for a hot meal on the day of your wedding, if it's being offered. I'd never expect you to provide for me, but I'm ever so appreciative when couples do. I'll leave it to your discretion, and bring a light lunch just in case.
How many photos will we receive?
From a full day's shooting, I'd typically advise couples to expect around 500 images. The final amount heavily depends, of course, on the number of hours shooting and events there are throughout the day.
Can we have a second shooter?
I tend to advise couples against the necessity of a second shooter, especially if you and your other half are getting ready at the same place. It's an option I can provide if preferred, but I generally manage to cover all bases on my own.
How much are couples sessions?
My couple sessions are not limited to engaged folk. Any excuse to get creative! You can book a session of your own for just £200, whether you're getting married or you've just met. Simply get in touch to find out more about what's included.
