It’s always been a hope of mine that I’d get to travel the depths of this beautiful country with this job of mine. Last weekend, I did just that by travelling all the way from Norfolk to Scotland for Grace & Grant’s fusion wedding. With subtle nods to Grant’s Indian heritage, decorated by both his and Grace’s Scottish heritages too, this wonderfully intimate day was a real pleasure to document.
Hosted by the French Chateau-esque venue that is Plane Castle, situated what feels like just a stone’s throw away from the rough mountainess terrain that Scotland is so well known for, it really was picture perfect. These two enjoyed their day amongst just 30 or so guests, their nearest and dearest, after downsizing what would have originally been a much large wedding in Edinburgh, initially. What with the pandemic, and being truer to themselves, they decided it was more sensible to have a wedding of this size and manor, instead. No regrets, I say. It was stunning.
