Here we go, folks. Jo & Fred’s low-key Parkhill wedding was my first of the year. And if this wedding was a mere taste of what’s to come, then I’m pretty sure that 2019 is going to be my favourite year yet. The morning began with a brief stop to visit Fred and his groomsmen at the pub, before heading to the venue to catch up with Jo and the girls. It started with a bang (and booze)… it ended like that too! As they promised, the alcohol was flowing. And despite it feeling a lot like a cold December day, every one had crackin’ good fun!
I’ve been to Parkhill a few times now, but I’ve not yet been fortunate enough (until this weekend) to photograph a wedding in the barn area. It’s bloody nice, as well. The most stunning part of the grounds, for sure. Working alongside Ben of Race Wedding Videography was another first for me. You guessed it, also a bloody nice chap. All in all, I couldn’t have asked for a better way to kick my season off. My next wedding isn’t until the start of May now, but then it’s 1 or 2 a week until October (plus a few in December). If you’re scrolling through this and you’re liking what you see, I’d love to add some dates to my season in October or November. Be sure to drop me a line!
