Whatever atmosphere was in the air on Kat & Chris’ Norfolk farm wedding day, I would love to bottle it up and take it with me to every wedding. These guys were the liveliest, warmest bunch of guests I’ve ever had the joy of photographing, and even roped me in to having my picture taken, busting moves on the dance floor and lifting me up. It was the most fun I’ve had, arguably since the c-word eradicated my diary last year. There was no fuss, no frill when it came to these guys, they just wanted to have a good time and damn am I here for that.
The most beautiful, hypnotizing moment of the day was their Greek Church ceremony. I’d never been witness to one before, and I was both fasincated by the traditions, and honoured to capture them. Katerina looked astonishingly gorgeous in her gown, and managed to stay radiant all day despite the balaeric heat. It was the hottest day of the year so far, but that stopped no one from partying until the sun came down.
This has to go straight up there with some of my favourites thus far. You’ll see it yourself when you scroll on through, just how much enthusiasm and joy there was throughout. It’s good to have a crowd like this around you when you’re getting married.
