There’s been a hint of summer in the air lately, hasn’t there? Which is wild, because it’s February. Today is February 25th and I stepped out for a dog walk in nothing more than a tea dress. I couldn’t believe it. Here I am currently, blogging and sharing this beautiful engagement session with you. I’m playing ‘Diamonds On the Sole of Her Shoes’ by Paul Simon, with the light leaking through the sun roof. I’m staring at the utterly enchanting view before me of the Sheringham coast, and I feel quite peaceful. That’s the effect that this warm weather has on us, I suppose. I’m well aware it’s not going to last, but I’ll take these short bursts of days, nonetheless.
Which brings us to Molly & Luke. We had about a 3-5 minute walk up a hill to get to their engagement spot, a location I’d only just discovered a week or 2 ago. As the sun was still blazing in the sky, we took 15 minutes before starting to just sit down, catch up and take in the scenery. I’m beyond thrilled to be working this wedding next year with my good friend Alicia of Lily Jayne Florist. It’ll be one of many! And we couldn’t be working for 2 nicer folk. Yes, I know, I say it a lot.

But it isn’t said without sincerity. I’m still in that place with this profession where every day is a blessing, and I’m smitten with every one of my couples. That’s a pretty pukka place to be, if I say so myself. Anyway (it’s not rare for me to end these blogs with this) – let’s crack on, shall we…
