When I first spoke to Adam & P and they described their plans for their wedding, I knew they were right up my street as a couple. A late December wedding with a touch of Christmas at the heart of my favourite city, Norwich – and at a beautiful venue, the St Giles House Hotel. I actually worked at St Giles very briefly as a waitress over the Xmas period, so I was already super familiar with it as a location. There’s nowhere else in the city with the same art deco, nostalgic feel to it as this place. It was the perfect choice for these two beauties!
Before heading to St Giles to join P, I started my day at the Plasterer’s Arms with Adam, his Dad and his Bro. I love discovering pubs in Norwich like this one that are total hidden gems. It’s well worth popping down for a pint and a pizza, near Magdalen Street, if you find the time. And after our morning brews, I got to spend the Bridal prep alongside my good friend and MUA, Leanna Stibbon. We always have a good giggle! And truth be told, there isn’t much more you could wish for. Working alongside some ace people, having a laugh all the way.
So, before I talk you in to boredom, come and have a gander for yourself. This alternative winter wedding is just stunning! Credit where credit is due of course… Venue: St Giles | Florist: Oops a Daisy | Hair: Cara Hubbard | Makeup: Leanna Stibbon | Dress: Needle & Thread
