Helena & Marlon | Rookery Meadow

The delightfully endearing Helena & Marlon had an utterly charming wedding day at the Rookery Meadow, Suffolk. It was my first time visiting the festival-vibed venue, and I loved the space these guys had created. It’s such a brilliant blank canvas for any couple that doesn’t mind a DIY job. H&M hired a tipi for their day and filled it with loads of character and personality. They held their humanist ceremony (the way forward in my opinion) outdoors underneath a shaded tree, simply decorated by a Boomting Bunting drape. Everything was so simplistically beautiful.

Besides the way the day looked, it felt like so much fun, too. From the morning prep rendition of ‘going to the chapel’ to the packed dancefloor, and a lot of space hoppers in between, I had a genuinely great day being in their presence. You really get to see it for yourself in this job that good people attract good people, and a fun couple are never short of fun guests. Thanks for letting me be a part of it all, guys.
