It was so much fun to experience an away-from-home wedding for once. I had the pleasure of staying a stone’s throw from Saffy & Sam’s wedding venue Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Hill, experiencing a part of London I otherwise never would have. And not to mention, just what a delight it was to photograph this wedding. Saffy is a formidable lady, oozing elegance and so much style, all of which was reflected in her many fashion choices on the day – including a pair of blue satin Manolo Blahnik shoes, just like Carrie Bradshaw.
And though the day started out pretty grim (weather-wise, only) the universe worked in their favour and somehow, the clouds cleared to reveal the most perfect sunset in the evening for their couples photos. September is truly making up for what rubbish weather we’ve had this summer – so thank you, for that.
