This brilliantly fun wedding at Kimberley Hall has set the standard for the rest of the 2025 season. What a kick start to my year! I arrived in the morning to a covering of thick fog around the grounds of the venue, which was quickly dispersing as the sun was already beaming down on us. It was incredibly mild day for early March.
It makes such a difference to walk into prep in the morning and be welcomed with a hug and genuine excitement, which is exactly how Katty greeted me. I quickly realised I was in the company of good people, and that vibe continued throughout the day.
Their ceremony was held at Hingham Church, where they were led out to the sound of bagpipes and introduced as Mr & Mrs to a guard of honour, a nod to the couple’s military backgrounds. Back at the reception, Army uniform was swapped out for tails, and many an oyster was consumed. And of course, as is the way with weddings, once most formalities were complete, the evening quickly fell into the best kind of chaos, as drinks were flowing and dancefloors were dominated. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better return to my job after a long & cold winter. Thank you so much for the joy you exude, K&C.
