What I probably love most about winter engagement sessions / weddings, is that warm, low natural light that lingers all day long. There’s something enchanting, and incredibly beautiful about it. For this particular pre-wedding shoot, I took Cassie and Chris to Thetford Forest, and alongside their adorable dog Eric, we went for a stroll through the barren woods. Literally no one was around. It was a relatively mild February day, but the winds were 40mph – plus some. These two handled it incredibly well.
If I haven’t told you guys enough, I have the raddest job in the world. I get to watch these two utterly lovely human beings, get married at the most gorgeous of Suffolk venues – White Dove Barns – in June, and having had a quick preview of Cassie’s dress, I’m already flipping off-the-charts excited for it!
But before I ramble on for too long about what’s gonna be epic and such, I best just let y’all have a rummage around this one. I proper loved shooting with these two. It was my first time back in the saddle (for severe lack of a way better phrase) since late December. Hoping the skills behind the camera ain’t too dusty, huh? Here’s some of my personal favourites.
