My first visit to the charmingly rustic Tudor Barn in Belstead, did not disappoint. This Suffolk based venue was host to Holly & Simon’s long awaited wedding day. Though they’re undeniably still young whipper snappers, they’d already been together a fair few years. Choosing to celebrate their special day with close friends and family, made the entire event feel homely and welcoming.
A stylish Bride planning a stylish wedding, Holly’s vision finally came to life. Every time I caught up with this pair, I was excited to hear what she’d come up with next. I adored the choice of pastel green dresses for her Bridesmaids, and the fab addition of the vintage VW beetle too. Not to mention, they served paella in the evening – yum! It’s always good to see something different, I say! You B&Gs should never be afraid to sprinkle your personalities in to your days. Regardless of what the norm is, do what makes you happy.
Here’s a few of my faves from this utterly lovely day. And some credits where credit is due… Florist: Myrtle and Mint | Hair: Danielle Garnham | Makeup: Cigdem Asli | Dresses: Grace & Lace, Victoria Lou Bridal | Suits: Debenhams | Caterers: Edward James Events | Cake: The Little Cake Place | Car Hire: V-Dub Rides
