Sometimes I have to remind myself that, whilst I love my job of which mainly consists of capturing life & love on behalf of other people, every now and then I need to remember to serve my own needs as a photographer. Sometimes, when the urge is there, you just have to create the content that feeds your soul. That’s exactly what I did here with this night shoot in the city. I found Victoria & Graham on Instagram, and after a brief back and forth in our DMs, we agreed to meet up on a dark corner on a rainy evening, like a couple of ill intended weirdos. And thank goodness we did, because we created something beautiful through doing it.
It’s exciting to shoot for other people, always, but it’s soothing – like a therapy – to shoot for yourself. So I hope you enjoy this as much as we all enjoyed creating it. Big shout out to this couple who were wildly in love with one another and up for anything I put their way.
