When Emma’s email first landed in my inbox to enquire about an engagement session, I was already in the thick of wedding season and knew that my dates would be limited to make space for her and James. I always try and priorotise my own wedding couples during the summer, for obvious reasons. But when a random weekend off in May aligned with their diaries, it was clear it was meant to be, so we met at Winterton Beach to capture the nicest sunset I’ve seen in such a long time. Originally from Belfast and currently living in Norfolk, they admitted this was an area of the Norfolk coast that they’d not greatly explored. I hoped that this session might’ve changed their minds, and maybe even yours, if you’re reading this. We’re blessed with a stunning and popular North Norfolk coastline, but the East is terribly underrated.

The whole session was giving summer holiday vibes, perfectly fitting for their upcoming destination wedding in Greece next year. And just before the end of our time together, I somehow managed to convince them to hop in my convertible Fiat and get a few final snaps together, which I think we can all agree turned out to be a great idea.
